The BC Farmers Market Trail partnered with Tourismo to launch a Rewards Program that turned app engagement into real-world rewards. Visitors earned points by completing challenges and checking in at participating farmers markets, then redeemed them for exclusive merchandise through a branded online store.

Challenge

The team wanted to increase repeat visits, reward participation in the Farmers Market Trail Passport, and strengthen brand loyalty with meaningful perks, while keeping fulfillment simple across a large regional campaign.

Solution

Tourismo built a branded WooCommerce redemption store, integrated with the Farmers Market Trail Passport app. Users earned points in the app by completing challenges and check-ins, and redeemed them online for custom rewards including BC Farmers Market Trail Veggie Socks and West Coast Seeds Insect Beneficial Blend. Automated redemption rules and reporting streamlined the entire experience.
